The objective is to beat the dealer by reaching a total of 21, or as close as possible, without going bust. Unlike American variants, the dealer only receives one face-up card at the start and does not receive a second card until all players have completed their moves. This "no-peek" rule adds a layer of strategy, as the dealer cannot check for blackjack early, making doubling and splitting more calculated decisions.

Core Rules and Payouts

In this version, the dealer must stand on all 17s, including soft 17s. Standard winning hands are paid out at 1:1, while a natural blackjack rewards players with a 3:2 payout. Insurance is available if the dealer shows an Ace, paying out at 2:1. The game allows for a high degree of flexibility, enabling participants to play up to three hands simultaneously against the house.

Splitting and Doubling Down

Specific rules govern how you can optimize your hands. You may split cards of the same value once per hand to create two separate positions. Doubling down is permitted only on hard totals of 9, 10, or 11, and this can also be done after a split.
