At the start of a round, both the player and the dealer are dealt five cards, with only one of the dealer's cards revealed. The player's objective is to form a stronger five-card poker hand than the dealer. To win the full payout, the dealer must "qualify" by holding at least an Ace and a King; if the dealer fails to qualify, the player's ante is paid even money and the raise is returned as a push.

Card Exchange Feature Explained

The standout mechanic in Oasis Poker is the ability to exchange cards before making a final decision to raise or fold. For a fee equal to the initial ante, the player can discard and replace cards from their hand to try and build a winning combination. Even if the dealer qualifies and has a strong hand, a higher-ranking player hand will result in a win. If both hands are of equal rank, the round results in a push.
