How the Game Plays

Three Card Poker by Light & Wonder is a digital adaptation of the world-famous specialty table game originally created by Shuffle Master. The game simplifies traditional poker into a fast-paced duel between the player and the dealer. Each hand is played with a standard 52-card deck, and the objective is to form a superior three-card poker hand. Because players only need to manage three cards, the rankings differ slightly from standard five-card poker; for example, a straight is harder to achieve than a flush and therefore ranks higher. To begin, you place an Ante bet. After viewing your cards, you must decide whether to Fold or make a Play bet of equal value to challenge the dealer's hand.

Side Bets and Bonuses Explained

This version includes the popular Pair Plus side bet, which pays out independently of the dealer's hand if you hold a pair or better. Additionally, the 6 Card Bonus side bet allows you to combine your three cards with the dealer’s three cards to form the best possible five-card poker hand, offering payouts for Three of a Kind or higher.
