Bracket Picture

Baku powerhouse Sabah have firmly established themselves at the pinnacle of cup competition following consecutive trophy triumphs, having most recently edged past Zira in the showpiece decider. Traditional heavyweights Qarabağ, who maintain the record for the most tournament victories, remain the standard-bearers determined to reclaim the crown after recent stumbles at the penultimate stage. Meanwhile, eternal rivals Neftçi Baku continue their quest to revive their domestic fortunes, while persistent challengers such as Turan Tovuz look to build on positive deep runs and bridge the gap to silverware.

Underdogs Still Alive

The opening stages of the knockout bracket provide a vital platform for First and Second League sides to test themselves against the top division. Regional challengers and lower-tier outfits enter the preliminary rounds aiming to engineer high-profile upsets. Establishing early defensive resilience is key for lower-seeded contenders seeking to navigate tricky opening ties, earn marquee matchups against top-tier opposition, and make a memorable mark on the national competition.
