How the Game Plays

Fortune of Qilin is an Asian-themed video slot created by Live22 that centers on the mythical Chinese creature associated with prosperity and good fortune. The game unfolds on an expansive 6x6 grid, delivering up to 46656 ways to win on every spin. Winning combinations form when matching symbols land on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost side. Whenever a win forms, the cascading reels mechanic clears the winning symbols, allowing new symbols to tumble down and potentially trigger continuous win sequences on a single turn. With an RTP of 97.19% and medium volatility, the slot balances base-game tumble sequences with strong feature potential, leading toward a maximum win multiplier of up to 5000x the bet. Users testing the Fortune of Qilin demo can explore this cascading mechanic and observe how consecutive tumble sequences develop in free play.

Wild-on-the-Way Feature Explained

A central mechanic of the Fortune of Qilin slot is the Wild-on-the-Way system. During base spins and tumbling sequences, selected regular symbols land outlined by special golden frames. If any of these framed symbols contribute to an active winning combination, they do not leave the grid; instead, they transform into expanding Qilin wild symbols that stretch across several positions on their respective reels. These wilds substitute for regular symbols across all 46656 ways to win, significantly enhancing connection potential across ongoing cascades.

Free Spins Explained

Landing four or more Scatter symbols anywhere across the reels triggers the Free Spins bonus round. Prior to the round starting, the game reveals the number of complimentary spins granted. During this feature, a progressive win multiplier activates, starting at a base value and increasing by +1 after each successful cascade chain. Because cascades can chain multiple times per spin, the multiplier climbs steadily throughout the round. For users who wish to skip waiting for scatter triggers during testing, the game also offers a direct Bonus Buy option.
