Monster Meter & Shockwaves Explained

Every winning symbol removed from the grid is collected in the Monster Meter. As the meter fills, it triggers various Monster Features that manipulate the grid. There are five distinct levels:

- Wild Flip: Transforms all instances of a random symbol into wilds.

- Monster Chunks: Adds 2x2 sized symbols to the grid.

- Monstrous: Expands a random symbol up to a massive 5x5 size.

- Zapocalypse: Triggers a series of zaps that clear blocker symbols and boost potential.

Filling the meter five times in a single avalanche sequence triggers the Shockwaves feature, which unleashes all five monster modifiers in succession for maximum chaos.

The Zappy Wild Feature

Zappy is a unique jumping wild that stays on the grid as long as wins occur. When Zappy is part of a cluster, he moves to a new position and leaves a standard wild behind. If Dr. Mayhem blocker symbols appear, Zappy will zap them off the board, which increases his personal win multiplier. During the final stages of a feature-heavy round, Zappy can expand up to 4x4 in size, significantly increasing the chances of a top-tier payout.
